Ipswich 3 Hour - 45 Days to Go!

Hi everyone,

We’re now 45 days away from the Ipswich 3 Hour, the opening round of the APC Endurance Championship at Queensland Raceway on the 1st-2nd of May 2026.

The event will mark the start of a new era of endurance racing for production-based performance cars, built around a simple format designed to maximise track time, strategy, and close racing.

Key highlights of the Ipswich 3 Hour include:

With 22 cars already entered, the grid is building quickly.

To kick off the race, drivers will take part in a Le Mans-inspired run to their cars on the grid, creating a strong visual moment for fans and media ahead of the race start. Don’t worry - the co-driver has to run while you’re already strapped in and ready to go.

Below is a short video of Tony Quinn discussing this concept at the Highlands 101 event...

The grid is shaping up to be roughly 50/50 between self-built race cars and manufacturer-built platforms, which should make for a fascinating contest across the classes.

Over the coming weeks we’ll begin sharing further entry announcements, team spotlights, and sponsor confirmations as we build momentum toward the first round.

With 45 days to go, now is the perfect time to finalise your plans and secure your place on the grid.
