1.1 Rounds
- 1.1.1 Round 1: Queensland Raceway - May 1-2 - Ipswich 3 Hour
- 1.1.2 Round 2: Sydney Motorsport Park - July 17-18 - Sydney 3 Hour
- 1.1.3 Round 3: Queensland Raceway - August 13-15 - Fight in the Night
- 1.1.4 Round 4: Winton Raceway - September 25-26 - Winton 3 Hour
- 1.1.5 Round 5: Calder Raceway - November 6-7 - Melbourne 3 Hour
1.2 Event Format
- 1.2.1 Practice consists of two (2) thirty-minute sessions conducted on Friday and is not compulsory.
- 1.2.2 Qualifying consists of one (1) thirty-minute session.
- 1.2.3 The race consists of one (1) three-hour endurance race.
2.1 Performance-Based Classes
- 2.1.1 The championship operates five (5) performance-based classes.
- 2.1.2 All competitors must nominate their intended class after qualifying and prior to the start of the race.
- 2.1.3 Class nomination is the responsibility of the competitor and must reflect the expected race pace of the vehicle.
- 2.1.4 Once nominated, a competitor’s class remains fixed for the duration of the race unless adjusted by Race Control in accordance with these regulations.
- 2.1.5 Race Control reserves the right to reclassify a vehicle to a higher class at any time where deemed necessary for sporting equity, safety, or as the result of a penalty.
2.2 Breakout Ranges by Circuit

2.3 Tolerance & Breakout Definition
- 2.3.1 Up to 0.200 seconds faster than the class floor is permitted.
- 2.3.2 Any lap time faster than the tolerance above is deemed a breakout.
- 2.3.3 Any lap time more than 0.500 seconds faster than the class floor exceeds the absolute breakout limit and will result in an immediate drive-through penalty, irrespective of the number of prior strikes.
2.4 Breakout Penalty Procedure
- 2.4.1 For the first and second breakouts, the competitor will receive a formal strike. Upon a third breakout, the competitor will be issued a drive-through penalty. Each subsequent breakout will also incur a drive-through penalty.
- 2.4.2 Any drive-through penalty must be served under green flag conditions.
- 2.4.3 The drive-through penalty must be served within three (3) laps of the breakout being recorded.
- 2.4.4 If a drive-through penalty is not served within three (3) laps, an additional drive-through penalty will be applied.
- 2.4.5 Drive-through penalties may not be served under Safety Car (SC) or Full Course Yellow (FCY) conditions.
2.5 Compulsory Pit Stops (CPS)
- 2.5.1 All cars must complete the required number of compulsory pit stops during the race as specified in this section.
- 2.5.2 CPS time is defined as the total end-to-end time measured from pit entry line to pit exit line.
- 2.5.3 The CPS window is open from Lap 5 until ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled race finish.
2.6 CPS Quantity and Time by Class

2.7 CPS Rules
- 2.7.1 Refuelling is only permitted during a CPS.
- 2.7.2 A maximum of four (4) crew may work on the car during refuelling, including the fire extinguisher operator.
- 2.7.3 A fire extinguisher operator must be in position at all times during refuelling.
- 2.7.4 A car controller is additional to the above crew.
- 2.7.5 Driver changes are permitted during refuelling.
3.1 Eligibility
- 3.1.1 Modified production road cars built to a national-level specification are eligible (refer to applicable AASA regulations).
- 3.1.2 Manufacturer-built, production-based race cars are eligible.
3.2 Engine
- 3.2.1 The engine must be an OEM engine option for the model being presented.
- 3.2.2 The factory engine block and cylinder head must be retained. Aftermarket or non-OEM castings are not permitted.
- 3.2.3 Dry-sump lubrication systems are not permitted unless originally fitted by the manufacturer.
- 3.2.4 Internal engine components including pistons, connecting rods, camshafts, compression ratio, bearings and valve train components are free.
- 3.2.5 The aspiration type must remain OEM. Turbocharging or supercharging may not be added unless originally equipped from factory.
- 3.2.6 The OEM intake manifold must be retained. Aftermarket air filters and intake ducting are permitted ahead of the throttle body.
- 3.2.7 Exhaust systems are free, provided they exit in the OEM location and comply with event noise limits.
- 3.2.8 Cooling systems including radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers and ducting are free, provided they fit within the OEM bodywork envelope.
- 3.2.9 OEM or aftermarket engine management systems (ECU) may be used, however the factory sensor layout and original engine architecture must be retained.
3.3 Fuel Type
- 3.3.1 Fuel is restricted to 98-octane pump fuel or approved drum-supplied fuel as specified in event bulletins.
3.4 Gearbox & Differential
- 3.4.1 Transmission type and model are free, provided no structural metal is removed or modified to accommodate the gearbox.
- 3.4.2 Sequential gearboxes are permitted.
- 3.4.3 Differential type and ratio are free.
3.5 Bodywork
- 3.5.1 Carbon fibre body panels are not permitted unless they are OEM and offered as a factory option or accessory for the model presented.
- 3.5.2 Replica or reproduction body panels are permitted.
- 3.5.3 Lights and bumpers must be OEM or OEM-style in appearance.
3.6 Aerodynamics
- 3.6.1 Undertrays or diffusers are not permitted unless fitted as standard OEM equipment.
- 3.6.2 Only OEM-supplied spoilers and splitters may be used.
3.7 Glass
- 3.7.1 OEM front and rear windscreens must be retained.
- 3.7.2 Door glass is free and may be replaced with polycarbonate material.
3.8 Interior
- 3.8.1 Interior trim is free, provided no structural metal is removed other than brackets or material required for roll cage installation.
- 3.8.2 The factory dashboard must be fitted. Modifications necessary for roll cage installation are permitted.
3.9 Suspension
- 3.9.1 The OEM suspension design must be retained.
- 3.9.2 Suspension pickup points may be relocated within a 50 mm radius of the original location.
- 3.9.3 Springs, dampers, bushings and suspension components are otherwise free.
- 3.9.4 Ride height is free.
3.10 Brakes
- 3.10.1 The brake system must follow the factory design layout.
- 3.10.2 Brake rotor size, caliper size and piston count are free.
- 3.10.3 ABS systems are permitted.
3.11 Tyres
- 3.11.1 Tyres must be DOT-rated and Australian road-legal.
- 3.11.2 Tyres must feature a visible tread pattern.
- 3.11.3 For the avoidance of doubt, twin-groove tyre variants are not permitted.
4.1 Replacement Fuel Tanks
- 4.1.1 A single replacement fuel tank may be fitted.
- 4.1.2 Any replacement fuel tank must comply with SFI 28.1 (or later) specification.
- 4.1.3 Modifications to facilitate fuel tank fitment are limited to drilling holes of the minimum required size for mounting, adding mounting brackets and providing for the passage of fuel lines.
4.2 Permitted Tank Locations
- 4.2.1 A replacement fuel tank may be installed in the original OEM tank location.
- 4.2.2 A replacement fuel tank may be installed in the luggage compartment.
- 4.2.3 A replacement fuel tank may be installed in the rear seat floor area.
- 4.2.4 For vehicles fitted with a tailshaft, two tanks are permitted provided one tank is mounted on each side of the tailshaft.
4.3 Rear Seat and Floor-Mounted Tanks
- 4.3.1 Limited modification of the floor is permitted solely to allow installation of the fuel tank or tanks.
- 4.3.2 Chassis side rails must not be modified.
- 4.3.3 Fuel tank installations must be positioned behind the main roll cage structure and forward of the rearmost roll cage mounting point.
- 4.3.4 The bottom of the fuel tank must be no lower than the lowest point of the chassis.
- 4.3.5 A sealed steel bulkhead must fully separate the fuel tank or tanks from the cockpit.
- 4.3.6 Any penetrations for fuel lines or fittings must be fully sealed from the cockpit.
4.4 Cockpit Isolation
- 4.4.1 The fuel system must be fully isolated from the cockpit at all times unless originally supplied otherwise by the manufacturer.
- 4.4.2 Where a fuel tank is located outside the OEM tank position, a fireproof and liquidproof bulkhead must separate the cockpit from the fuel tank.
4.5 Additional Fuel Tanks
- 4.5.1 When retaining the standard OEM fuel tank, one additional fuel tank up to 30 litres capacity is permitted.
- 4.5.2 Any additional fuel tank must be of safe construction and securely mounted.
- 4.5.3 Any additional fuel tank must be located within a sealed compartment separate from the cockpit.
- 4.5.4 Where dry break refuelling is used, any additional fuel tank must comply with SFI 28.1 specification.
4.6 General
- 4.6.1 All fuel tanks, lines, fittings, vents and mounts must be securely installed and adequately protected.
- 4.6.2 All fuel system installations are subject to scrutineering approval.
- 4.6.3 The organisers reserve the right to require modification or removal of any fuel system deemed unsafe or non-compliant.
5.1 Points
- 5.1.1 Race points will be awarded in accordance with a points table to be published.
- 5.1.2 To be eligible to score points, a car must complete a minimum of 75% of the total distance completed by the race leader.
5.2 Season Titles
- 5.2.1 An Overall Championship title will be awarded.
- 5.2.2 Class Championship titles will be awarded for Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5.
5.3 Trophies
- 5.3.1 Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the Outright classification.
- 5.3.2 Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each of Class 1 through Class 5.
5.4 Prize Money
- 5.4.1 The total prize pool per round is $6,000.
- 5.4.2 Prize money will be distributed as follows: $1,000 to the Outright race winner and $1,000 to each Class winner (Class 1 through Class 5).
- 5.4.3 Where a class has fewer than three (3) starters, prize money allocation may be adjusted at the discretion of the organisers.
