PARRAMATTA VEHICLE SERVICES READY FOR SYDNEY AS NEW EVENT NAMING RIGHTS PARTNER

Parramatta Vehicle Services (PVS) has been announced as the naming rights partner of the penultimate round of the 2024 Meguiar’s Australian Production Cars season: the Parramatta Vehicle Services Sydney Stoush.

The event will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park across October 18-20, with the Meguiar’s APC competitors to carry the PVS logo on their rear windscreen banners during the event.

PVS Director, Tyler Mecklem is with co-driver Hadrian Morrall a reigning A1 champion and recent Queensland Raceway outright and class A2 winner. The pair will be on-track at the PVS Sydney Stoush in the impressive #9 Parramatta Vehicle Services Ford Mustang.

“Sydney Motorsport Park is the ‘home’ race circuit for PVS and it makes perfect sense to us to take this opportunity to not only support the category that we love, but to promote our business,” Mecklem said.

“While offering services to a wide array of vehicles, we specialise in particular in tuning and modifying Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ vehicles which are prominent in production car racing.

“Australian Production Cars is a national showcase of our workmanship and results through our round three winning #9 Parramatta Vehicle Services Ford Mustang, and also previously our 2023 A1 class winning #9 PVS Mitsubishi Evo X, with PVS not only sponsoring our cars but also undertaking all the race preparation.

“We are looking forward to seeing the category continue to grow and we are pleased to be a part of helping promote it through this sponsorship of the Parramatta Vehicle Services Sydney Stoush.”

Troy Williams, General Manager for Meguiar’s APC category manager, Production Car Racing Ltd, said he was pleased to welcome PVS as a valued partner of the series.

“PVS have long been a part of the fabric of our series as a partner for the racing efforts of Tyler Mecklem and Hadrian Morrall, including their 2023 A1 Championship win and recent outright and A2 class victory at Queensland Raceway, amongst other achievements,” Williams said.

“To see them stepping up their involvement in our series to also become an event naming rights partner is something we are very excited about.

“The PVS Sydney Stoush marks the penultimate round of our 2024 season and we can’t wait to see all of our competitors enjoy their time on-track with us at Sydney Motorsport Park across October 18-20.”

In addition to providing General Logbook Servicing and Maintenance, PVS offers Dyno Tuning (including Motec ECU flashing), Performance Upgrades and Race Car Prep and Maintenance. These services are offered across a wide array of vehicles, with the team also specialising in Toyota 86 and Subaru makes.

The business offers no-end of specialised experience, with Mecklem having operated in the local area as a mechanic for 30 years, with his work informed by an extensive motorsport racing background including time in Formula Ford and V8 Supercars.  He also regularly offers up his time to conduct Driver Training and provide general advice and support to encourage newcomers to the sport.
