Production Car Racing Ltd is pleased to announce leading surface care specialist Meguiar’s as the new naming rights partner for the 2024 Australian Production Cars season.
Meguiar’s Australian Production Cars will kick-off its 2024 championship with four 30-minute races this weekend (February 9-11) at Sandown International Raceway, as part of the Shannons Speed Series Race Sandown event.
In Australia, Meguiar’s has been exclusively distributed since 1990 by MotorActive, which is also the country’s Mobil 1 retail distributor.
“We are very excited to be stepping up Meguiar’s involvement in the APC from sponsor of the Meguiar’s Best Presented Award in 2023 to proud naming rights partner in 2024. After a brilliant season last year, we can’t wait to see the Meguiar’s Australian Production Cars category grow across 2024,” MotorActive Managing Director, Bruce Morrison, said.
Troy Williams, the General Manager of Meguiar’s APC category manager, Production Car Racing Pty Ltd, said he was pleased to officially welcome Meguiar’s as the APC’s new naming rights partner.
“There is no doubting that Meguiar’s is a fantastic and well-respected brand and we look forward to representing them across 2024 as our championship continues to grow from strength to strength,” Williams said.
In 2024 the APC is enjoying a five-round calendar, commencing at Sandown Raceway across February 9-11 (four 30-minute races), before heading to The Bend for four 1 hour races across May 31 – June 2. Round three will be held at Queensland Raceway (July 12-14, two 2 hour races), before the penultimate round of the APC calendar for 2024 will then be held at Sydney Motorsport Park (October 18-20, four 1 hour races). The Bathurst International will then provide a thrilling finale across November 8-10, with four 30-minute races to close out the year.
